Position Summary 

  

  • ES&A Innovation and Operations team is seeking a talented and motivated UI Developer to join our innovative team. As a UI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for web applications. You will work closely with our development team to create visually appealing and functional interfaces that enhance the user experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to kickstart their career in UI development and gain valuable experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. 

 

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

 

The salary range for this position is from $80,000 to $120,000

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

  • Create intuitive user experiences and visually appealing user interfaces. 

  • Implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and ReactJS. 

  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for performance. 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI design trends and technologies. 

  • Troubleshoot and debug UI issues to ensure a seamless user experience. 

 

Qualifications 

Minimum: 

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study, or equivalent experience. 

  • 1 year of  programming analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and ReactJS. 

  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues. 

  • Passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces. 

 

Desired: 

  • Internship or project experience in Generative AI development. 

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. 

  • Knowledge of Python/FastAPI. 

  • Understanding of energy sector challenges and opportunities.
