Talent Operations, part of the Coworker Candidate Care & Operations organization, is a dynamic and results-driven group within Human Resources. Our team partners closely with business units to efficiently recruit, acquire, empower, develop, and retain top talent. We are looking for a coordinator who excels in processing candidates with consistency and precision, ensuring our workforce remains equipped to meet evolving business needs.

Our focus is to ensure we bring the right talent to the organization, and all candidates have positive experience during the recruiting process at PG&E.

Position Summary

As a Talent Operations Coordinator, you will thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted, and collaborative environment, supporting multiple recruiters across Talent Operations. Your ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage high-volume workloads is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate discretion with confidential personnel information and possess a strong commitment to operational excellence.

This position is hybrid, combining remote work and in-person collaboration at the Oakland General Office 1-3 days per week, depending on business requirements. Our work in Talent Operations may require your flexibility in working hours to accommodate business needs. This may include working Saturdays, on occasion. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Follows established processes and procedures to complete complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintains information in the applicant tracking system. Performs process and compliance audits ensuring all applicants are properly captured and tracked.
  • Schedules in-person and online interviews between recruiters, hiring leaders, interviewers, and candidates. Coordinates travel for candidates when needed and processes travel expense reimbursements.
  • Proactively and positively responds to candidate queries, concerns, and needs.
  • Demonstrates appropriate discretion when interacting with Recruiters, Candidates, Hiring Leaders, Corporate Security, HR Solutions Center, Relocation, DOT and Legal. Regularly handles highly sensitive, confidential information and PII.
  • Accurately and appropriately report on information gathered, when needed. Secures required recruiting related documentation from

the candidate and for internal purposes.

  • Manages on-boarding activities, inputting candidate information into Company systems, and coordinates background checks.
  • Manages pre-employment screening results in partnership with Corporate Security and the background screening vendor.
  • Follows standard procedures to handle candidate disputes and issue resolution. Manages the Standard Rescind procedure.
  • Participates in project and process improvement initiatives.
  • Runs periodic reports and delivers to recruiters as requested.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum: 

  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
  • 3 years of administrative or clerical experience, with a strong preference for prior experience in recruitment coordination or talent operations.

Compensation

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

 

Bay Area Min: $26.44/hour

Bay Area Mid: $33.17/hour

Bay Area Max: $39.90/hour
