Position Summary

 

Oversees the multi-year work plan for a Line of Business (LoB) and partners with internal departments to develop the Strategy Plan (S2), ensuring work and resource plans align with the budget plan (S1) request and link appropriately to the regulatory recovery process. Monitors the execution of work plan. Collaborates with LoB Business Finance team to monitor and reallocate budget between the various programs and maintain an overall view of budget performance.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

 

Bay Area Minimum: $147,000

Bay Area Mid: $199,000
Bay Area Maximum: $251,000

 

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Oversees the strategy and development of a prioritized and optimized long range and annual work plan portfolio.
  • Monitors execution of work plans.
  • Develops resource and cost forecasting models to refine and improve analysis.
  • Oversees the evaluation of work plan resources, costs and schedules.
  • Monitors work progression from initiation through construction readiness.
  • Provides strategic guidance and direction for the development of the operating plan and budget.
  • Maximizes the effectiveness and strategic use of the Operating Plan budget.
  • Ensures the system performance meets reliability targets and that outages are analyzed for cause, trends, & duration.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 8 years
  • Leadership experience, 2 years
  • Ability to work flexible schedule

 

Desired:

 

  • Masters Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Utility industry experience, or related
  • PMP-Project Management Professional certification
