Position Summary 

The Senior Recruiter will support the talent needs for the Enterprise with a primary focus supporting bargining unit or "union" hiring. You will have demonstrated a proven ability to manage a high volume of requisition and tasks. You should take initiative, be resourceful, and work with minimal supervision while producing positive results. You will create and execute strategic sourcing strategies while maintaining excellent relationships with hiring leaders, candidates, and team members to efficiently drive the process. You must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing a complex and robust recruitment process in a regulated industry. To be successful, you must possess a natural passion for building and maintaining strong professional relationships and for developing a deep understanding of the business and its unique challenges.

The role is hybrid, working from your remote home office and the Oakland General Office, or other PG&E locations, on average 1-4 times per month based on business needs or company requirements.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Pay Range display:

$95,000 - $131,000/year

Job Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with line of business.
  • Solid understanding of the various jobs, business objectives and business drivers of the lines of business supported. Relationship management is at the Supervisor to Executive level.
  • Advanced understanding of the line of business supported and helps to develop, manage, and lead specific recruiting strategies and plans.
  • Monitors the progress and success of recruiting and sourcing plans and strategies and develops and presents specific recommendations and actions to line of business and recruiting leadership in support of strategic objectives.
  • Builds and maintains pipelines / sources for talent acquisition for unique or specialty jobs.
  • Partner with co-worker inclusion and belonging on workforce planning and forecasting.
  • May lead smaller project teams within the recruiting department on small to mid-size recruiting-related projects. 
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring leader interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure complete and accurate audit records.
  • Visit clients to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and to foster relationships.
  • Utilize effective communication to proactively keep others informed, clearly express ideas and thoughts both verbally and in written form and ensure all communications are timely and appropriate.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.

Qualifications  

Minimum: 

  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
  • 5 years of related experience

Desired: 

  • Project management experience
  • PHR or SPHR
  • Data driven, leveraging insights to pivot and meet performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of union recruiting processes including bidding, letters of agreements, contracts, testing, etc.
  • Applicant Tracking System experience, Success Factors preferred
