Department Overview

The Ethics, Risk and Compliance Department (ERC) provides integrated enterprise infrastructure, governance, guidance, oversight, and legal advice and counsel to help PG&E effectively manage enterprise and operational risks and conduct business with high ethical standards in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, procedures, and commitments.
 
ERC collaborates cross-functionally to provide governance, legal and technical analysis, as well as independent assessments related to risk and compliance for all functional areas within PG&E.  This collaboration results in a broader awareness of risk, novel approaches to risk mitigation and controls, and improved compliance performance, to support a speak-up culture and accountability that are essential for future success. To ensure PG&E is meeting our compliance, risk, safety, and legal commitments, the department manages relationships and coordinates with key stakeholders and regulators and collaborates with cross-functional internal teams to promote insight and continuous improvement.   
 

 

Position Summary

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively. Responsibilities typically include some or most of the following in support of Program Management to ensure attainment of program metrics/objectives. 

•    Ensure quality and consistency in the Ethics and Compliance Helpline process.
•    Respond to guidance requests which may include working with other subject matter experts to reach a conclusion in a timely manner, ensuring a positive customer experience. 
•    Timely and accurate entry of issues that come to the Employee Conduct Program team through various channels. 
•    Analyze data from the Helpline to identify compliance and ethics trends; develop meaningful reporting for key stakeholders to be made aware of issues within their organization; prepare monthly helpline reports summarizing key issues raised and resolutions.
• Managing relationship with and providing direction to vendor(s). 

• Identifying stakeholders and communicate within and outside of PG&E. 
• Developing and/or implementing policies and procedures. 
 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. 

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. 

 

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $102,000
Bay Area Maximum: $162,000
 

 

Job Responsibilities

Handles confidential matters and is comfortable pushing back and speaking up  
• Completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions plan and goals. 
• Works independently on most issues and can prioritize multiple assignments.
• Provides direction on overall program plan and goals. 
• Responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan. 
• Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and creates materials for operating reviews or other meetings where conduct data analysis is requested.
 

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• 6 years of related experience or equivalent

 

Desired
Experience within the relevant functional area
Experience handling sensitive HR-related matters
Experience with case management systems including Convercent and ECTS
• Travel may be required
