Department Overview

 

Position Summary

Provides operational delivery and management support of facility services to Corporate Real Estate strategic programs and PG&E facilities. Oversees support programs and services: major vendors / contracts, asset management, and facility management program compliance.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with PG&E Corporate Security to ensure physical security at all company offices, buildings, and locations.
  • Ensures all departmental processes and standards adhere and comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensures the operations and processes of the assigned department and/or section adhere and comply with all federal, state, and local laws, codes, and agency regulations.
  • Establishes the direction and leadership of Facility Operations, Conferencing Services, Vendor or Expense management, and FM Program Compliance.
  • Manages the budget administration, resource allocation, financial performance, and develops plans and strategies to minimize costs and maximize services.
  • Manages the planning, implementation, and monitoring of maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM), mechanical, and electrical programs and initiatives.
  • Oversees and ensures the health, safety, emergency, disaster preparedness, and risk management within an assigned department and/or section.
  • Oversees and partners with PG&E’s lines of business and the alliance partner for the continuous improvement, cost minimization, and maximum utilization of facilities management operational programs and initiatives.
  • Responsible for the management and oversight of facility management services and operations within an assigned department and/or section.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Leadership experience, 3 years
  • Job-related experience, 7 years
  • CA Class C License, or equivalent
  • Record of Clean Driving
  • Desired:

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent experience
  • Leadership experience, call center
  • Experience in vendor management, or related
  • Experience in construction, or related, 8 years
  • SFP-Sustainability Facility Professional Certification
  • FMP-Facility Management Professional certification
  • CFM-Certified Facility Manager certification
