Position Summary

As part of the General Counsel and Ethics, Risk, & Compliance (GC ERC) Program Management Office, the successful candidate will play an important role in developing and automating our Daily Operating Review (DOR), Weekly Operating Review (WOR), and Monthly Operating Review (MOR) dashboards.

 

As we further incorporate Lean into our daily operations, we are looking to create a dynamic experience using visual management, dashboards and data to tell the story of our performance and identify areas that need more support or leadership engagement. Our GC ERC Leadership Team will lean on this person to integrate inputs across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale (SQCDM) allowing for timely and visual updates.

 

The successful candidate will manage aspects of program implementation, operations, communications and continuous improvement.  At the principal level, this individual will lead and facilitate discussions with stakeholders, gather requirements, create processes, and work with internal resources to drive creation of metrics and dashboards. Additionally, the successful candidate should have a strong background working with Power BI, SQL, and Excel.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. We expect this person to be in person on average 1x a week or 4x a month.

 

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

 

Bay Area Min: $144,000

Bay Area Mid: $194,000

Bay Area Max: $244,000

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead data projects to determine scope, timeframes, teams, tasks, resources and issues
  • Manage large data sets with confidentiality and care while creating meaningful reports and visual management
  • Identify client needs through assessments and build out easy to read and useful reporting
  • Manage cross-functional dashboards and develop dynamic visuals using the 1-3-10 Lean concepts
  • Drive attention and engagement around unique and complex problems, anticipate issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Actively participate in leadership meetings, ensure discussions remain on track and own action items
  • Demonstrates strategic leadership with internal stakeholders using the Lean Operating System
  • Integrate 1-3-10 visual
  • Follow Lean Operating System and Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Meet program goals including DOR, WOR and MOR dashboard support across four VPs, SVP (as needed), and EVP
  • Handle confidential matters as needed

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of related experience or equivalent

 

 

Desired:

 

  • Experience in process management and improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar
  • Advanced project management and change management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint site management
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering and working with and/or building agents/chatbots
  • Experience with organizational span of control, roadmaps, benchmarking, metrics, forecasting, and scorecards
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning, business management, and leadership models, tools, theories, and concept
  • Demonstrated knowledge to navigate large, complex organizations and achieve results in the development and implementation of strategies, programs and processes
  • Strong ability to coach, mentor and provide respectful feedback
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
