Finance’s vision is to build and sustain leading finance capabilities to support PG&E’s vision. Within Finance, the Enterprise Planning organization – inclusive of Business Plan Deployment (BPD) - leads the company’s work and financial planning process, spanning orchestration of internal planning processes through to external regulatory proceeding development.

 

Position Summary

 

The Principal Business Finance Analyst - BPD Decision Facilitation role will focus on facilitating decision-making and plan integration across the enterprise. In this role, you will connect the dots and translate the functional area specific work plans and strategic needs into clear decision options and implication understanding for the executive team. You should excel in visualization of business information, narrative building using MS PowerPoint, facilitation and relationship management.

 

This role will report to the Director of Enterprise Business Plan Deployment (BPD), working closely with teams spanning Enterprise Strategy, Risk, Investment Planning, Business Finance and Planning, and Regulatory Affairs across the company.

 

The role is classified as hybrid (0-3 days per week in office), working primarily from your remote office and in-person in the Oakland General Office to attend team meetings or as business needs require.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

 

A reasonable salary range is:

 

Bay Area Minimum: $128,000.00
Bay Area Maximum: $218,000.00

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Capture and analyze critical business information from various sources, strong attention to detail, surface recommendations and solutions, and drive for results
  • Build narratives and create presentation materials to enable senior executive decision-making
  • Support process integration between key planning inputs across the company
  • Lead projects which may be cross functional, including facilitate cross functional team meetings and workshops
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies in support of the company and department
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships. Mentor, provide guidance, create and share best practices

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or job-related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of job-related experience

 

Desired:

 

  • Master’s Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 10 years job-related experience
