Department Overview 

The Information Technology (IT) organization designs, develops, operates and maintains the technology and telecommunications systems that enable PG&E to meet its commitment to providing safe, reliable and affordable service to customers 

 

Position Summary 

This position supports the Executive Vice President of IT (CIO - Chief Information Officer), and the team that supports the CIO as well as direct reports.  We operate as ONE team to provide seamless organizational and operational needs. This position is primarily responsible for a variety of responsibilities as outlined below.  

 

PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.   

 

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $32.69 to $49.03 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Analyze low complexity business processes and information needs of the client. 

  • Understand major areas of the client’s business environment. 

  • Manage operational meeting requests 

  • Act as Primary facilitator for Daily Operating Reviews (DOR). 

  • Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries or escalate as appropriate. 

  • Work within IT to build content for large format meetings (ELT, IT O&D, All Coworker)  

  • Support the Transformation Team – meeting planning and management of DOR, WOR, MOR 

  • Participation with Joy Team 

 

Qualifications 

Minimum: 

  • BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Business, Engineering, etc. or related discipline.  

  • Must have a degree conferred by the start date.   

  • Must have permanent authorization to work full time (40 hours a week) in the United States. PG&E will not provide visa or immigration support.   

 

Desired: 

  • Graduating in Winter 2025 or Spring 2026 

  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills 

  • Basic knowledge of fundamental analysis 

  • Organizational and prioritization skills 

  • Verbal and written communication skills 

  • Adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity 

  • Manage multiple assignments with demanding time constraints 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio or similar Software
