Position Summary

This Contract Performance Manger Senior will support Contract Operations in performing Cost Validation of Target Price Negotiated (TPN) contracts. This will consist of using various tools such as Excel, Ariba and Unifier to evaluate supplier provided true up costs for TPN contracts and to find discrepancies and work with supplier to correct. Additionally, this role is responsible to perform quality checks on purchase requisitions routed by the functional area. These quality checks will be to ensure all proper documentation and requirements of a purchase requisition are in the purchase requisition and that all compliance requirements are satisfied. This role will provide direction and training to the functional areas regarding quality purchase requisition creation.

 PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.  

 

A reasonable salary range is: 

Bay Area Minimum: $93,000

Bay Area Midpoint: $116,000         

Bay Area Maximum: $139,000        

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads and/or supports complex technical and operational TPN Cost Validation True up completions.
  •  Provides direction and strategy recommendations on contractual matters.
  • Creates new and innovative approaches, tools, and tactics to solve complex problems.
  • Provides strategic as well as technical direction to all team members.
  • Coaches and develops team members.
  • Leads large and complex cross functional projects or process improvement initiatives.
  • Provides clear, concise, and timely information to the functional areas.
  • Develops training and trains team members on policy, quality, and complex contract issues.
  • Manages special research projects for Contract Operations and Contract Lifecycle Management.

  • Highly skilled and experienced on Contract Management and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  •  5 years of experience in a similar role managing contracts for heavy civil, pipeline, or industrial construction projects.

 

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have advanced excel experience.
  • Experience in major construction project controls, cost estimating and scheduling.
  • Experience with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) regarding contract Documents
  • Experience with process development, review, and continuous improvement
  • Utility industry experience
