Position Summary

Responsible for the development of maintenance and construction contracts in Gas Operations. Works closely with key gas operations departments and key functions including project management, engineering, legal, sourcing and others to ensure that all contracts for projects are complete, enforceable, and accurately reflect all general and project-specific conditions. Engaged in project needs scoping and the selection of contract strategy and vendor. Develops contract scopes of work, bid forms and bid packages. Negotiates and prepares quality procurement requests for the issuance of contracts.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland based on business needs or company requirements.

 

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint <$80,000 - $100,000>. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Bay Area Min: $80,000

Bay Area Mid: $100,000

Bay Area Max: $120,000

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops contract documents with a focus on compliance with contract terms and conditions and corporate standard practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures the use of current contract templates and with necessary relevant Portfolio contract terms and conditions.
  • Creates, reviews and issues purchase orders, contracts and CWAs generated from procurement requests; executes up to signing authority.
  • Works on contract quality control by reviewing various contract and change orders to ensure they meet PG&E legal and safety standards.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 3 years

Desired:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Utility industry experience
  • Experience in transmission pipeline construction
  • Experience in quality control, contracts
  • Experience in project controls
  • Job-related experience, 4 years
  • PMP-Project Management Professional certification
  • PgMP-Program Management Professional certification
  • CCE-Certified Cost Engineer certification
  • PMI-Project Management Institute CAPM-Certified Associate in Project Management certification
