Given the criticality of the infrastructure and facilities, PG&E has several compliance obligations at the federal, regional, and state level. We work together internally and in concert with each functional area and supporting partners to provide security, based on identified risks and compliance requirements.

The Critical Infrastructure Protection & Compliance (CIPC) team develops physical security, risk, and compliance solutions, defines appropriate levels of protection, risk reduction strategies, standards that guide the civil and technology-based playbook, investment planning, and ensures programmatic compliance within CSD and across each functional area. We identify current and future risks to develop mitigation strategies. Govern and forecast portfolio scope and scale, and asset protection roadmaps to execute prioritized security and risk reduction plans.
