Position Summary

Protects the organization's data and infrastructure in the cloud by implementing and maintaining security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of stored data. Identifies and mitigates potential security threats, monitors, and responds to security incidents, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborates with other teams to develop and implement security policies and best practices to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

 

PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.


The hourly rate for this position ranges from $47.12 to $70.19.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists with the administration of infrastructure software used to deploy new applications, application updates, report creation, and security updates/patches in accordance with configuration standards.
  • Assists IT professionals and application stakeholders in product implementation and use.
  • Creates, manages, and tracks incident tickets, change requests, work orders, service requests and assignments as directed.
  • Manages roles to allow access to functionality.
  • Assists in the modifying and configuration of applications/systems as specified in the requirements and/or technical design document.
  • Assists in consulting and guidance during the detailed design, build, test, and deploy phases of IT projects.
  • Collaborates with other teams and stakeholders in remediation efforts for various SaaS platforms, AWS and other cloud environments.

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 1 year experience in IT-Information Technology and Cloud Technologies
  • AWS Certified Developer or SysOps Administrator – Associate Certification

 

Desired:

  • Experience in IT-Information Technology security, network, and systems
  • Experience in programming
  • Experience in automation, job-related
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certification
