Position Summary

 

Develop and collaborate with senior leaders, business partners and external stakeholder on strategic business opportunities for growth in PG&E#s core business, as well as new and emerging areas. Drive senior level partnerships across lines of business and key departments to develop long-term strategic plans that mitigate risk while building upon market trends and opportunities. Lead negotiations of partnership agreements and commercial transactions. Partner with various lines of business to ensure that plans and programs support strategic, financial, operational plans and goals.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

Compensation

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle of the range ($240,000), the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

 

A reasonable salary range is:

 

Bay Area Minimum: $178,000

Bay Area Maximum: $304,000

 

 

Background Qualifications

 

Minimum

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 10yrs

 

Desired

  • Masters Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in strategic planning, job-related, 8yrs
  • Energy Industry experience
  • Knowledge of contract processes and procedures and relevant contracts and licensing - for example ESC, IBEW, tort, contract law - as needed to perform at the job level
  • Skill in negotiating between stakeholders to reach an agreement
  • Competency in developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
  • Competency in consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
  • Competency in painting a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action Competency in using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others
