Department Overview  

 

The Case Management Office (CMO) is part of the Intake & Agency Reporting Team in the Compliance Excellence organization, where our vision is that together we will create a compliance culture that supports and exceeds our regulator’s expectations for safety, reliability, and customer expectations. The CMO coordinates the work of case managers delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality responses to regulatory agencies. This position reports to the Manager of the CMO.

 

Position Summary 

 

The Case Management Office Intern will assist in optimizing management controls, work plans, standards, and training to support proactively planned and effectively managed work. This role will accelerate the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and PMP methodologies, enabling Intake & Agency Reporting to leverage Change Management practices when driving compliance excellence across internal and external stakeholders. 

 

PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. 

 

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24.52 to $35.37  

 

Responsibilities 

 

Support senior staff with: 

  • Facilitate and manage data requests for the team
  • Assist in preparing reports and managing dashboards
  • Support process development and documentation

 

The successful intern will have the opportunity to learn about these activities as described above working with a team of experienced professionals.  Additionally, the intern will gain knowledge of the larger Electric Engineering organization through the work they will be performing. 

 

Qualifications  

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or related field in a full-time capacity at an accredited university
  • Students must be continuing their education towards degree during and after the internship

Desired:  

  • 3.0 GPA or greater in both cumulative GPA and major GPA 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support fellow team members 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills  
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
