Department Overview

Digital Catalyst Field Support is an organization established to support PG&E Field and office support organizations with mobile technology. We achieve this by providing user support and training, implementing technology solutions such as smart mobile forms, and partnering with business stakeholders and various IT teams to ensure business data lands securely in destination systems of record such as SAP and ESRI based GIS.

 

Position Summary

This position supports line of business end users and business process owners with development, deployment, and operational support of technology solutions. Duties may include but are not limited to user technical/functional support, detailed requirements gathering, low/no-code forms development, guidance documents and user training both in person and remote.
 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.


A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $80,000.00

Bay Area Maximum: $120,000.00

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle moderately complex user issues that arise with supported systems and tools
  • Address most calls independently, escalates the more complex problems to senior peers
  • Analyze and understand moderate complexity business processes and information needs
  • May be mentored by a Senior Business Systems Specialist
  • May perform various additional activities, such as user-based application testing, remote or in person user training/support, and smart form development, etc.
  • Participate in technology projects through deployment and into operational support
  • Provide timely and professional responses to IT partners and user inquiries. Escalate as appropriate.
  • Gather and Coordinate requirements and deliverables with IT partners and business users/owners
  • Analyze and propose solutions with some supervision


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 2 years job-related experience in IT, Business, or Engineering fields


Desired:

  • Experience in project participation, medium complexity
  • Experience in business, job-related, 3 years
