Position Summary
Ensures PG&E Academy's technical training delivery programs and operation align with all State/Federal regulations, Union contracts, Company standards and work procedures, and PG&E Academy Standards, Tools, and Templates for delivery of technical training at the highest level of safety and performance standards.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Livermore training hub based on business needs. The Director will travel as necessary to the field and satellite training locations.
Reporting Relationship This role reports to the Senior Director PG&E Academy
Job Responsibilities
- Ensures the overall quality of training delivery for PG&E Academy courses. Ensures the training infrastructure is well maintained and kept current to support new training programs.
- Partners with line of business stakeholders to identify training requirements.
- Partners with lines of business to develop sustainable programs that will rotate resources from the field to help design and deliver training programs.
- Manages the design and development of industry leading processes, tools, and delivery strategies for curriculums to ensure training is consistent, high quality, and is developed as efficiently as possible.
- Manage Technical Training budgets, controlling costs, forecasting, and reviewing and approving expenses.
- Oversees technical training leaders and all aspects of training delivery.

Compensation
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $170,000
Bay Area Maximum:$290,000
Or
California Minimum:$162,000
California Maximum:$276,000

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
