Position Summary

Manages aspects of training program implementation and operations.  Ensures the program is operating effectively.  Responsibilities typically include some or most of the following in support of Program Management to ensure attainment of program metrics/objectives.

  • Managing relationships with and providing direction to program participants and instructors
  • Monitoring completion and recording of training courses and OJE/OJT assignments
  • Developing, measuring, and reporting on the success of the program  
  • Partnering with the Learning Academy, T&S Engineering & Test team and external partners to develop and implement strategies to address training needs
  • Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners
  • Identifying stakeholders and communicating within PG&E    
  • Developing and/or implementing policies and procedures
  • Identifying new partners, technologies, and delivery channels 

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

 

A reasonable salary range is:​

Bay Area Minimum: $85,000

Bay Area Maximum: $127,000

&/OR​

California Minimum: $81,000

California Maximum: $121,000

  • This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
  • This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs. The headquarters location is in Fresno, CA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Completes assignments of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Requires some guidance on moderately complex issues.
  • May participate in project teams.
  • Understands the basic organizational structure and how to utilize available resources.

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of related experience or equivalent.

Desired:

  • Full understanding of Program Management.
  • Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, perform, and communicate activities both in written and verbal form.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP and MyLearning
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
