Department Overview

 

The Coworkers of Electric Operations ensure the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response.

 

Position Summary

 

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and assigned headquarter location at least 3 times per week; subject to change per business needs.

 

PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

 

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $28.37 to $45.19

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Works on structured or routine assignments of limited scope and complexity.
  • Focuses primarily on own individual tasks.
  • Learns to apply basic knowledge and develops professional skill set.
  • Communicates with peers inside and outside of the department, providing information or exchanging data.
  • Assists other Program Managers using established processes, practices and procedures as directed.
  • Position will be headquartered in Dublin with occasional travel to San Jose

 

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

 

 

Desired:

 

  • 1 year experience as a Program Manager
  • Business or Communications Degree preferred
  • SAP Experience
  • Travel may be required
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Ability to assess and recommend solutions for routine projects
  • Possesses general technical knowledge
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Organizational skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint
