Position Summary


Responsible for managing PG&E’s Waste Elimination Program within Electric Operations, a strategic initiative focused on identifying and driving process improvements that eliminate inefficiencies and reduce costs. This role owns the implementation, performance, and continuous evolution of the program, ensuring initiatives are aligned with enterprise goals. This role ensures key metrics and strategic objectives are met by driving cross-functional collaboration and aligning initiatives with organizational goals.

 

The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of program management expertise, cross-functional leadership, and analytical acumen to optimize operational workflows, enhance performance metrics, and influence lasting change.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
 
Salary range:
Min: $122,000
Mid: $158,000
Max: $194,000
•    This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
•    This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs. The headquarters is located in Dublin, CA.

 

Responsibilities typically include some or most of the following supporting Program Management to ensure the attainment of program metrics/objectives.

 Key Responsibilities
•    Own the design, execution, and oversight of the Waste Elimination program for Electric Operations
•    Establish KPIs and report on program success, outcomes, and areas for improvement
•    Partner with internal teams and business units to identify improvement opportunities across operational processes
•    Build and maintain high-impact relationships with stakeholders across Electric Operations
•    Champion a continuous improvement culture rooted in lean principles and operational efficiency
•    Communicate program outcomes across organizational levels using executive-level reporting
•    Engage and communicate with stakeholders across PG&E and external organizations
•    Design and implement program policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
Program Operations & Influence
•    Apply broad expertise to solve complex, cross-functional program challenges
•    Serve as a program lead, mentoring and guiding junior employees
•    Influence decisions across multiple departments and leadership levels
•    Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
•    Implement structured governance, policies, and procedures to scale and sustain program performance

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business.  
•    8 years of related experience or equivalent

 

Desired:

•    Master’s degree
•    PMP Certification
•    Advanced knowledge of Program Management
•    Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional leaders and driving measurable outcomes
