Position Summary

Join a high-performing, and dynamic team shaping the future of PG&E’s electrical grid – delivering reliably, safe, affordable, and clean energy to our customers and communities. The Grid Operations, Applications, and Transformation (GOAT) team is dedicated to implementing and maintaining PG&E’s Operational Technology including the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), which is fundamental to a sustainable energy future and the Grid of Tomorrow. We are seeking accomplished, integrity-driven, diverse, and collaborative individuals to join us as a Network Model Engineer, Senior. The Network Model Engineer will be an integral part of our GOAT organization. This position provides leading edge technology enabling PG&E to improve and enhance operational technology. This role will be focused on ensuring the on-going maintenance and growth of the ADMS network model. The network model is a combination of various existing data sets: RT SCADA, GIS, CYME, etc. to build a comprehensive electrical model of our distribution grid. With the combination of GIS nodal topology, engineering data, and SCADA we can deploy advanced applications that will allow distribution operations a new single pane of glass from which to operate the grid of tomorrow. This role will be focused on network model changes needed to integrate with customer databases for OMS, and other changes needed for future advanced functionality.

The selected candidate must live within PG&E’s service territory.
