Position Summary:
Collaborates with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the coordination, scheduling, and procedural compliance of mandated critical facilities activities. Communicates and interacts with Gas Supervisors and excavators to ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with Gas Standards and excavation safety guidelines. Works closely with project teams, Locate and Mark, Dig-In Reduction Team, Aerial & Ground Patrol, contract vendors, local municipalities, and excavators to plan, schedule, and report on Pipeline Standby activities. Maintains and reports team metrics to include quality management and financial budget and forecast. Institutes program and functional improvements by Lean principles and standardized work processes.
Up to 50% travel (system wide) throughout PG&E service area.
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $102k.
Bay Area Maximum: $162k.

California Minimum: $97k.
California Maximum: $154k.
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintains and publishes resource plans and schedules
- Ensures consistency in planning resource deployments.

- Ensures coworker productivity and costs are monitored regularly to effectively utilize resources.

- Promotes and fosters a working partnership with IBEW leadership and its members.
- Maintains clear communication and reporting with Superintendent on work progress and any obstacles that may hinder it.
- Leads or participates in meetings to review
scheduling projects, timeframes and develop process improvements as well as best practices. - Provides back-up and supplemental support to Transmission Damage Prevention Supervisors.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Economics, Accounting or Engineering, or equivalent experience
•5 years of utility-related work experience including 2 years working with transmission or complex projects and 3 years performing work planning, coordination and/or reporting.
Desired:
• Experience in gas transmission project support management or supervisory role.
- Experience in in-line inspection operations and/or pipeline operations.
- Experience with project coordination or project scheduling for a large engineering/procurement/construction project or program.
- Knowledge and understanding of scheduling, planning software including Excel, Word, MS Project and MS Office Suite.
- Actively support company and organization policies, procedures, goals, objectives, vision and values.
- Ability to work on a variety of problems at once whereby analysis and evaluation is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and management; maintain harmonious working relationships and mentor staff to increase knowledge and skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to internal stakeholders.
- Ability to comprehend and apply PG&E’s Code of Safe Practices.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under deadlines, handle challenging work environment, time demands and conflicting priorities.
- Knowledgeable about the business requirements process and understand general business processes of department(s) supported.
- Detail oriented, analytical, good oral and written communication skills, strong reading comprehension skills.
