Position Summary

The DCPP Performance Improvement team is responsible for various programs onsite including the Corrective Action Program (CAP), Human Performance (HU), Operating Experience (OE), Self-Assessments and Benchmarking. The summer intern position will support the performance improvement team by leveraging various Microsoft tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot etc.) to increase digital productivity.

 

PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

 

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.77 to $35.11.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field at an accredited University.
  • Students must be continuing their education towards Bachelors or Master's degree during and/or after the internship with returning back to school in the Fall of 2025.

Desired:

  • 3.0 GPA or greater in both cumulative GPA and major GPA
  • Data Science experience in utilities, municipalities, or other industrial setting
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
  • SAP experience
  • Experience or interest in working with AI applications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal direction
