Position Summary

The role of the IT Mobile Product Specialist is to manage the entire lifecycle of assigned IT product(s) or service(s). Major responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders in the selection process, developing detailed system designs from requirements, capacity management, contributing to future direction and roadmaps, escalated support and product consulting. The successful candidate will oversee Mobile Platform(s) and perform daily operational tasks such as software packaging, software deployment and development of tools to help streamline the onboarding of mobile field personnel along with other duties that arise.


Job Responsibilities

  • Create software deployment packages
  • Manage software deployments across platforms for Windows and iOS
  • Work with clients to identify issues and come up with timely solutions
  • Assist peers with vulnerability management across mobile devices
  • Develop automation tools to streamline deployment of hardware and software to field personnel
  • Develop tools to increase user experience and provide a single pane of glass for operability on mobile devices
  • Work with vendors to deliver updates to common software and in an automatable installer
  • Provide peer support for managing next generation mobile hardware
  • Participate in major lifecycle projects including core platform technologies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to provide a One IT model
  • Collaborate with team members and conduct cross-training for continue team skill improvement





  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience with systems management software, job-related
  • 1 year experience working client requests with Remedy



  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Utility industry experience, regulated
  • 3 or more years systems management software (SCCM, Afaria, JAMF, InTune, Mobile Iron)
  • 2 or more years shell scripting, script automation (AutoIT, Powershell, Python)
  • Application delivery and lifecycle experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of GIT or other Source Control tools
  • Practical application of Agile and Waterfall methods for software delivery
