Department Overview

The New Revenue Development (NRD) organization is an entrepreneurial and customer-focused team in Customer Care whose purpose is to advance innovative uses of PG&E assets, resources, expertise and relationships. Through the products that NRD develops and manages, NRD has the opportunity to lower rates for PG&E’s customers, drive customer satisfaction, and generate positive net revenue for PG&E shareholders.


Position Summary

PG&E’s New Revenue Development (NRD) team is seeking a Salesforce.com (SFDC) administrator to maintain SFDC features and

enhancements and support users in New Revenue Development, particularly Contract management and administration, sales, and data queries. We are looking for someone who possesses the knowledge of best practices and can take the SFDC implementation to the next level with high user participation and feature utilizations.  NRD has our own instance of salesforce with complex needs for customization based on our own business needs.


Job Responsibilities


  • All facets of advanced salesforce.com administration and support, including: Setup and
    configuration of custom objects and fields. Understanding of Salesforce’s core CRM processes for managing Leads, Contacts, Accounts, contracts, and Cases
  • Troubleshoots and assist in database resolution.
  • Manages database access, availability and performance according to agreed upon response time and availability requirements.
  • Provides new and innovative solutions and recommendations to enhance database(s) with new data sources and improved data processes.
  • Communicates (oral and written) recommendations and findings to leaders and officers.
  • Identifies, analyzes and improves existing business processes within a department to meet new goals and objectives.
  • Generate and maintain leadership dashboards to measure results
  • Works on complex problems having broad impact that require in depth analysis and judgment to obtain results or solutions.
  • Resolves escalated issues.
  • Business process problem solving - Meet regularly and often with cross-functional business stakeholders within and outside of NRD to capture requirements and propose solutions, including extensive collaboration with IT
  • emergency response duties as assigned
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Six years of recent relevant database management or Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud experience
  • Salesforce Certified System Administrator Certification
  • Experience in database management, job-related, 8 years
  • Experience in project management, database-related
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Certification
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-directed, professional and flexible Must be a team-player with collaborative style and excellent communication skill
  • Demonstrate strong and effective organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with Conga contract generation plug in.
