Department Overview

In Customer Care we are focused on delivering the desired customer experience for each of our customers. Everything we do starts with the customer and our information about the customer. That information is collected and managed by our Customer Experience Strategy group. Each of our organizations, though completely dependent upon each other, are the experts in their area and will further drive PG&Es alignment around the customer.

Position Summary

PG&E is seeking a Salesforce.com (SFDC) administrator to maintain SFDC features and enhancements and support users in all CES departments, particularly product/program management, energy efficiency operations, and sales. We are looking for someone who possesses the knowledge of best practices and can take the SFDC implementation to the next level with high user participation and feature utilizations.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 year of related experience (i.e. database management, Salesforce, customer service, energy efficiency and/or other related technical)

    Desired:
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Database / SQL skills a strong plus
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-directed, professional and flexible Must be a team-player with collaborative style and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills Proficient in data manipulation (Excel)
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate strong and effective organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with utility energy efficiency programs
  • Knowledge of Dataloader or other Salesforce data management tools

Responsibilities

  • Basic facets of salesforce.com administration and support; monitoring workflow rules in Setup and configuration
  • Investigate and support user license audits
  • Use established processes and practices to complete work assignments within established parameters
  • Understanding of Salesforce’s core CRM processes for managing Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Cases
  • Salesforce data management - export / import data using tools like Data Loader and monitor recurring data transfer routines
  • Business process problem solving - Meet regularly and often with business stakeholders to capture requirements and propose solutions
  • Assist in process design, including creation of requirements documentation and visual flow diagrams
  • Actively researches database issues and identify causes.
  • Create and run basic report queries
  • May participate on project teams
