Position Summary

  • Assists in implementation of Security Standards, based on organization's Security policy and IT organization, with guidance from a senior member of Cloud COE or Cloud Security Manager
  • Advises on implementation of basic security standards and controls for Cloud solutions
  • Assists with implementation of standardized solutions to facilitate the secure access for one product or Application in the Cloud environment, with assistance from a more senior member of the Cloud COE
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Federation / SSO
  • SIEM and Audit Logging (CloudTrail & Config)
  • Management of Security Groups and ACLs, Perimeter security with WAF and Shield DDoS
  • Data-in-Transit / Certificate Management, Data-at-Rest / Key/Secret Management
  • Assists with design of available, cost efficient, fault tolerant, and scalable distributed systems, with help from senior member of Cloud COE team
  • Familiar with AWS design principles and Security best practices and industry standards for security
  • Assists with implementation of Cloud Architecture solution, based on defined security standards for Cloud COE - from an Application and Infrastructure perspective
  • Assists with regular testing and scanning of Cloud products and application customers to provide compliance with overall security standards
  • Assists with delivery of simple Cloud security patterns and implementations based on customer requirements and adherence to security standards
  • Educates Cloud COE team to design and implement secure coding and continuous security practices within their applications
  • Partners with Engineering teams in Cybersecurity Services and SIOC to gather design considerations and requirements


Job Responsibilities

  • Develops CloudFormation templates and/or python code to enable preventative, detective and corrective controls are in place for all whitelisted services in the cloud environment.
  • Integrates security into the CI/CD pipeline and implements code auditing capabilities to ensure adherence to best practice and prevent deployment of vulnerable code.
  • Assists with implementation of standardized solutions to facilitate the secure access for one product or Application in the Cloud environment
  •  SIEM and Audit logging (CloudTrail & Config)
  • Management of Security Groups and ACL's, Perimeter security with WAF and Shield DDoS Data-in-Transit / Certificate Management, Dat-at-Rest Key/Secret Management
  • Assists with design of available, cost efficient, fault tolerant and scalable distributed systems
  • Partners with engineering teams in Cybersecurity Serv ices and SIOC to gather design considerations and requirements
  • Assists in consulting and guidance during the detailed design, build, test, and deploy phases of IT projects.
  • Assists with the administration of infrastructure software used to deploy new applications, application updates, report creation, and security updates/patches in accordance with configuration standards.
  • Partners with engineers to develop technical standards and manuals for design, maintenance, construction and/or operations.
  • Helps design fault-tolerant system architectures to run mission-critical applications and ensures high-availability of systems across multiple data centers.
  • Provides review of extracting data from the Electronic System, ensuring that appropriate audit logs are maintained.
  • Participates in identifying solutions for significant service issues.
  • Develops and monitors governance standards, processes and procedures to assure accurate records and information security.
  • Develops and maintains broad organizational security and threat awareness of major initiatives and management priorities






  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 6 years experience in IT-Information Technology
  • 1 year experience as Scrum Master, Agile environment
  • 1 year experience in IT-Information Technology Cloud Technologies
  • AWS-Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certification




  • Experience in IT-Information Technology deployment
  • Experience in systems integration, job-related
  • AWS-Amazon Web Services Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate Certification
