Department Overview

 

Enterprise Business Processes is a newly formed organization comprised of multi-disciplinary individuals with rich experience across the enterprise. We are employing critical thinking to design and implement the new SAP solution that will modernize our end-to-end processes across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Information Technology.  We are a tenacious team who has partnered closely with IT to work collaboratively with groups across the enterprise to understand our current and future business needs. As part of the Propel program, the organization is responsible for the SAP strategic direction, roadmap, solution design, solution delivery, and solution support.

 

Position Summary

 

The Senior PMO Program Manager will be responsible for the reliable and consistent production of our operating reviews and methodically arranging sessions and events such as sponsor/committee/board meetings, workshops, demos, conferences, all-coworker events, and training sessions to include all levels of co-workers up to Officer-level. You will also work in conjunction with the Principal PMO Program Manager and participate in various PMO activities, tasks, projects, and initiatives including continuous improvement efforts. You should be an enthusiastic joy-at-work practitioner who thrives in building team affinity. You will work closely with our solution teams, IT co-workers, System Integrator, other business partners, and various other internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to ensure we deliver on our program goals and objectives. The role is hybrid working from your remote office on Fridays and in-person at the Oakland General Office Monday – Thursday each week. Occasional travel within the service territory may be required.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

 

A reasonable salary range is:​

 

Bay Area Minimum: $​102,000

Bay Area Maximum: $​162,000

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions plan and goals
  • Works independently on most issues
  • Communicates findings and recommendations to various levels of management
  • Develops or supports the development of budget forecasts, conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances and develops solutions to address
  • Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations and provides business insight.

Additional responsibilities specific to the role:

  • Execute the production of quality DORs, WORs, and MORs
  • Maintain our time architecture
  • Manage the program calendar and mailbox
  • Manage our workspace including special projects with CRESS
  • Manage portions of our collaboration tools
  • Manage our team roster/organization charts and distribution lists
  • Responsible for Onboarding/offboarding process duties
  • Producer of sessions and events
  • May be involved in budget analysis/variance (including forecast) tasks
  • May be involved in the preparation and quality checks of reports, presentations, and analytics to provide business insights
  • Works primarily in office environment with extensive use of personal computers, mobile devices, A/V equipment, conference calls, Teams meetings, and in-person meetings

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum:

 

  • 6 years of related experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Well-versed in PG&E’s Clear Sky Playbook and Gap International Breakthrough
  • Self-starter who quickly and proactively solves challenges with minimum guidance and direction
  • Brings a positive execution-oriented mindset including detecting team dynamics, being situationally aware, adjusting work style as needed, and driving problem-solving.
  • Has a high-energy, resourceful, and solution-focused attitude
  • Advanced skill level in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Communicates progress of actions, escalates impediments, and effectively manages to a timeline
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing all aspects of event logistics; experienced in creating and maintaining run-of-shows
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple efforts/projects with demanding time constraints
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience with Visio, JIRA, Power Apps, Confluence, Planisware
