Department Overview

The Enterprise Performance System team is responsible for the implementation of Lean across PG&E. This is accomplished by training, coaching, KPI development and tracking, problem solving, use of standards of performance and eliminating waste. This team leads the Enterprise assessment process on how we measure operational excellence and lean maturity

 

Position Summary

The Enterprise Assessment Analyst will provide analytical and administrative support for two enterprise assessments: 1) Business System Performance and 2) Lean Maturity. This role will assist in data collection, analysis, reporting, and coordination of assessment activities. The analyst will work closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and smooth execution of assessment processes.

 

This position is hybrid. In office work 2-3 days a week to the assigned work location based on business need.

 

Work location will be in Oakland reporting to the Oakland General Office. Some travel will be required across the PG&E territory based on business needs.

 

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint <$Min - $Mid of the range>. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

 

Bay Area Min: $102,000

Bay Area Mid: $127,000

Bay Area Max: $152,000

 

Job Responsibilities

Program Management & Execution

  • Assist in project management, scheduling and coordinating assessment activities across functional areas.
  • Maintain and update documentation, templates, and tracking tools for assessments.

Assessment Design & Development

  • Support the design of assessment instruments, tools, and processes.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions with senior leadership and subject matter experts.

Training & Capability Building

  • Assist in design and develop the training curriculum for the assessment team.
  • Support workshops and training sessions

Communication & Change Management

  • Draft communication and change management plans for assessment initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration with key stakeholders to secure alignment and sponsorship.

Reporting & Insights

  • Create clear and concise presentations that convey objectives, insights, and outcomes.
  • Support development of feedback reports for assessed organizations.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • 5 years of experience in project/program management, organizational change, or operations management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, statistics, organization development, or related field.
  • Experience in supporting assessment or improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Desired:

  • Experience with survey/assessment design and facilitation
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) and/or Change Management Certification.
