Customer and Corporate Affairs (C&CA) is devoted to serving PG&E's mission of delivering safe, reliable, and affordable customer-focused electric and gas service to all customers across our unique service area. As PG&E's customer-facing organization, we support Electric Operations, Gas Operations, and Energy Supply. We aim to define and drive the enterprise-wide customer strategy while encouraging a culture of safety, affordability, and employee engagement. Local Customer & Community CE) is accountable for delivering high-quality performance to PG&E's customers and ensuring the safety, availability, and reliability of regional operations for our hometowns.
To meet and exceed our customers' diverse needs and preferences, PG&E implemented a Regional Service Model (RSM) in 2021, rolling out five unique regions supported by local-level leadership. The Regional Service Model Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for harnessing the power of a large utility and curating it to the needs of our diverse customers by supporting our five regions and each of their leaders to quickly resolve issues at the regional level and rebuild trust with our hometowns.
Position Summary
The Program Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and strategic alignment across the organization. This role leads the planning, governance, and execution of cross-functional initiatives, while managing daily, weekly, and monthly operating reviews in partnership with LCE leadership. They will also help manage and facilitate other leadership meetings and working sessions to ensure alignment, accountability, and progress across key priorities.
The ideal candidate brings strong executive presence, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement. They will independently lead high-impact programs, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and contribute to the evolution of governance and reporting processes. Comfort with Excel and a desire to learn tools like Power BI are essential, as is the ability to identify and implement process improvements. This role also supports the broader PMO mission of integrating full lifecycle project management and end-to-end process governance across a 300-person department, while leaning into larger enterprise-wide initiatives as needed.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business needs or company requirements. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader.
PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Job Responsibilities
- Supports daily, weekly, and monthly operating reviews with LCCE leadership, leveraging strong executive presence to communicate insights, influence decisions, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Coordinates cross-functional resources and interdependencies across PMO, RSM, and enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring program cohesion and timely delivery.
- Communicates program and project status clearly and professionally to stakeholders at all levels through both verbal updates and executive-ready written reports.
- Eager to support broader strategic initiatives, contributing ideas, energy, and structure to high-impact programs beyond core responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Design, or equivalent work experience
Desired:
- Critical thinker who takes initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work with many personality types
- Intermediate level of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) and an understanding of visual hierarchy
- Analytical with proven ability to conduct data analysis that drives decisions and supports data storytelling
- Project and/or process management experience
- Experience in change management, or related, enterprise-wide
