Position Summary

Plans and monitors work plan portfolio of jobs. Collaborates with stakeholders to plan and track the execution of work related to the overall portfolio. Establishes methods to collect data from leadership, finance, project management, operations and other stakeholders for analysis. Utilizes customized software to manage portfolio/work plan data and drives the adoption of new planning systems and related processes.

 

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location 3 days a week.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

 

Bay Area Minimum: $136,000

Bay Area Mid:$184,000
Bay Maximum: $232,000

 

California Minimum: $129,000

California Mid: $175,000

California Maximum:$220,000

 

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

•    Supports the development of contingency plans with stakeholders to assure work readiness if work and financial plans require adjustment.
•    Highlights issues such as actual cost or resource data outside of the plan.  Determines how and where to obtain further information from systems or stakeholders to investigate and determine the cause of variance.  May independently reach out to stakeholders to explore performance variances and causes.
•    Partners with peers and stakeholders to develop integrated work plans, project plan updates, and presentation materials for regular work and budget meetings.
•    Participates in special initiative project teams and, on occasion, may take on a team leadership role on specific projects.
•    Presents findings and makes recommendations to the function management
•    May also perform some or all of the following responsibilities:
  o    Coordinates with peers and stakeholders in assigned work streams to develop a prioritized and optimized annual work plan, supported by a strategic, balanced annual resource plan.
  o    Tracks and reports on work progression, monitors execution of work plans, and updates portfolios for short- and long-term planning.  Ensures the work plan is transparent and well communicated.
  o    Complete understanding of end-to-end process (workflow), knowledge of at least one work stream.
  o    Evaluates the associated costs and resources needed to execute work plans.  

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 10 years
  • Experience in strategic planning, or other related
