Information Systems Technology Services is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions. The Finance and Analytics business technology organization provides IT services to Electric, Gas, Generation and Supply Chain lines of businesses. The organization is responsible for strategic technology planning, roadmap development, solution design and delivery.

 

Position Summary

Configures, implements, maintains and upgrades Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application modules (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Work Management Modules). Analyzes business requirements, creates functional design documents and performs ERP system configuration and customization to provide system solutions for the Line of Business and IT organizations.

 

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position.  The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location.  The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint $144,000 - $194,000.  The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

 

Bay Area Min: $ 144,000

Bay Area Mid: $ 194,000

Bay Area Max: $ 244,000

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office (OGO) 3 days a week and or based on business needs.

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture and delivery for SAP S/4HANA Utilities, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise asset management, billing, and customer service processes
  • Design and implement industry-specific SAP modules (IS-U) to support utility operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions aligned with regulatory and compliance standards
  • Drive innovation and optimization by leveraging SAP best practices, preconfigured processes, and integration capabilities to reduce implementation risk and cost
  • Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on SAP roadmap, emerging technologies, and utility industry trends to influence business and IT decisions
  • Configure and maintain SAP SD module components, including pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management, ensuring alignment with business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, PP) to integrate SD processes seamlessly across the supply chain and financial operations
  • Analyze and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and system configurations for order-to-cash processes
  • Provide support for SAP SD implementations and enhancements, including testing, troubleshooting, and user training to ensure smooth adoption
  • Monitor and optimize SD workflows, leveraging SAP best practices to improve efficiency in sales order processing, delivery scheduling, and invoicing

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 10 years experience in IT-Information Technology, or other job-related
  • 8 years of experience implementing or supporting an ERP system
  • 8 years experience as IT ERP Functional Analyst
