Information Systems Technology Services is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions.

 

Position Summary

Directs the identification, development and customization of complex systems solutions to address client's business requirements. Oversees design activities that may involve application/system architecture or process designs for integration of very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Serves as manager/advocate for the client and as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems.


This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office (OGO) based on business needs or company requirements. 

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.  

 

Pay range is: $159,000 - $236,500

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Defines initiatives to realize Architecture goals based on overall IT strategy.
  • Develops and implements work plans in support of department goals.
  • Evaluates results through monitoring progress; providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and reinforcing behaviors that drive high performance.
  • Manages a team of skilled Architects within an Architectural Practice through mentoring, reviewing, and guidance.
  • Provides direction in the assigned area in support of IT architecture objectives with short term impact on functional goals.
  • Responsible for managing a staff of technical resources consisting of Supervisor(s), Professionals and/or Support positions
  • Sets department goals in support of established objectives.

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 6 years experience in IT-Information Technology architecture management, or related

 


Desired:

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
