Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project manager to support Agile delivery across multiple LOBs. This role combines Project management discipline with Agile leadership, ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can work seamlessly with on-site and offshore teams, manage multiple priorities and drive collaboration across business and IT stakeholders.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.  

Pay range: $114,000.00 - $162,800.00

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and our Oakland or San Ramon Headquarters based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory 


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project and enhancements delivery across multiple business areas such as Customer Care, Energy Efficiency, Emergency operations, Field Operations, and corporate systems.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Business Analyst, and scrum teams to define scope, OKRs, deliverables and success criteria.
  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos) and ensures continuous alignment between business and IT teams,
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring – tracking milestones, budgets, dependencies, and risks.
  • Drive collaboration and communication between on-site and offshore resources to ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors, and internal IT teams to resolve blockers and support continuous improvement in agile maturity and project execution practices.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Report project health, metrics and progress to IT leadership and Business sponsors.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience in project management, IT-Information Technology

 

Desired:

  • Certifications – CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, Release management using Copado and other IT governance frameworks
  • Proven success managing medium to large scale technology projects using Salesforce platform
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid project delivery methods
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams across on-site and offshore locations
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, confluence, MS Project
  • Experience working with SaaS, Salesforce and other enterprise platforms
