Position Summary

The Program Manager supports PG&E’s Enterprise Data Science & AI team by driving execution of strategic initiatives, coordinating cross-functional efforts, supporting program execution across multiple lines of work, and ensuring timely delivery of key tasks across the team. This role serves as a central point for execution of PG&E’s AI strategy, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment across multiple programs.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.  

Pay range: $140,000.00 - $207,900.00

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and our Oakland Headquarters based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Program Coordination
    • Execution approaching a Chief of Staff, ensuring the successful implementation of AI Transformation at PG&E.
    • Manage processes for new initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
    • Maintain and update project tracking tools and dashboards for visibility into execution status.
    • Facilitate recurring status meetings to report progress, resolve blockers, and ensure accountability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as a liaison between leadership and business units to clarify requirements and expectations.
    • Coordinate collaborative sessions and demonstrations to showcase capabilities and gather feedback.
  • Strategy & Use Case Management
    • Support development and communication of the organization’s AI strategy.
    • Maintain a repository of AI use cases and prepare materials for leadership reviews.
    • Assign and track tasks related to initiatives, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder updates.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Drive consistency in project documentation and reporting standards.
    • Monitor resource allocation and escalate risks to leadership as needed.


Qualifications
Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years job-related experience


Desired:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with experience in agile or hybrid methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and workflows
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
  • Additional preferred tool experience (Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Jira)
