The IT Third-Party Strategy and Operations (TPSO) team, within the Office of the CIO (OCIO), provides the governance, structure, and operational discipline that enable effective management of PG&E’s IT third-party ecosystem. TPSO drives strategic, operational, and financial oversight across contracts, vendors, labor programs, and portfolio data, ensuring consistent standards, informed decision-making, and optimized spend. Through cross-functional partnership with sourcing, finance, architecture, and delivery teams, TPSO establishes enterprise controls, enhances transparency, and supports the reliable delivery of IT services that power the business.

Position Summary

This role serves as a central integration point for the IT Third-Party Strategy and Operations leadership team, helping translate priorities into clear plans and ensuring coordinated execution across multiple functional areas. The position partners closely with other OCIO teams, sourcing, finance, architecture, and delivery organizations to align stakeholders, manage interdependencies, and maintain an effective operating cadence that drives program outcomes.

With a focus on IT third-party management, the role helps coordinate work across contract governance, vendor management, labor programs, and financial oversight activities to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with enterprise standards. This includes tracking progress across initiatives, surfacing risks and decisions, and ensuring dependencies are actively managed across internal teams and external partners.

The role also supports program-level reporting and leader-ready communications, enabling informed decision-making and visibility into performance, financials, and delivery outcomes. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and influence, this position works across organizational boundaries to connect strategy to execution and ensure complex third-party initiatives remain aligned, well-governed, and on track.
