Department Overview

The New Revenue Development (NRD) organization is an entrepreneurial team in Strategy and Innovation whose purpose is to advance innovative use of PG&E assets, resources, expertise and relationships. Through commercialization of non-tariffed programs, NRD has the opportunity to support customer satisfaction and generate positive net revenue for PG&E.

  

Position Summary

Manages aspects of NRD program implementation and operations. Will lead Lean initiatives and oversee compliance metrics.  Ensures overall program is operating effectively.  Develops and maintains documentation for policies and procedures. Ensures effective and sustainable controls are in place to meet compliance requirements. Works collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure timely management of strategic initiatives related to program and facilitates the resolution of issues.

 

This position is expected to interact with various entities such as customers, subcontractors, non-tariff partners and regulatory agencies such as California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Communicates effectively and builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders, and with critical customer representatives. May be required to interact externally with regulators and customers. 

 

Additionally, this position will support the development of new non-tariffed products and services by performing various tasks including conducting research, organizing stakeholder meetings and workshops, and preparing presentations.  

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Work location will be determined by hiring leader and successful candidate.

 

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position.  The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location.  The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the range.  The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

 

Bay Area Minimum: $122,000

Bay Area Midpoint: $168,000

Bay Area Maximum: $207,000

And/Or

California Minimum: $123,000

California Midpoint: $160,000

California Maximum: $197,000

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Applies broad expertise and advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues.
  • May act as a team lead and provide direction to less experienced employees.
  • Works with Directors and Managers across functions to influence decisions.
  • Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences using a variety of media.
  • Integrates industry knowledge related to data into everyday business practices and decision making. 
  • Provides others with guidance around complex industry regulatory and compliance environment and considerations.
  • Creates new and complex data models to facilitate business decisions.
  • Provides direction on overall program.
  • Supports Operating Reviews, leads Lean visual management and trending analysis.
  • Coordinates business reviews and may present on key initiatives.
  • Performs in-depth quality assurance final reviews and contract drafts.
  • Develops new or revises existing scopes of work to ensure compliance standards and deliverables are established.

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in business
  • Job-related experience, 8 years

 

Desired:

  • Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
