Department Overview

The Strategic Commercial Solutions (SCS) team is an agile group of high performing individuals focused on delivering breakthrough outcomes for PG&E’s largest commercial and industrial customers including data centers. The SCS team works directly with customers and internal stakeholders delivering cross functional solutions and driving transformational growth.

 

Position Summary

As part of this team, you will be imbedded with SCS Program Management. This role will support the group in various areas and lead initiatives and department improvements. We need someone who is precise, digs into the details, and passionate about delivering accurate and quality results.  

 

The successful candidate must be self-driven, nimble, and able to work under ambiguity. 

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The preferred work location is Oakland, CA.

 

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position.  The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location.  The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum to the midpoint of the range.  The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

 

Bay Area Minimum: $122,000.00

Bay Area Midpoint: $158,000.00

Bay Area Maximum: $194,000.00

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs analysis on highly complex data models that have cross- functional impact
  • Applies advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues
  • Develops innovative data solutions to address complex business issues. Presents findings and proposed recommendations to leaders.
  • Develop business cases in support of strategy or change initiatives
  • Works with and leverages relationships with Directors and Managers across functions / PG&E
  • Manages cross-functional projects or initiatives
  • May provide direction and coaching to other Business Analysts
  • Manage tactical implementation plans and linking to summary dashboards
  • Pulling data from SAP, studies, and other diverse sources and then synthesizing into cohesive reports
  • Putting together unique presentations for PG&E Directors and Officers
  • Managing WOR and MOR presentations
  • Managing metric reporting for MORs and CMR
  • Manage various reports and trackers
  • Ad hoc requests from leadership
  • Manage contract accruals for department as needed
  • Managing and updating Power BI database
  • Organize Sharepoint
  • Support Program Managers and other staff on initiatives and customer needs

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 6 of related work experience

 

Desired:

  • Experience working in and pulling information from SAP
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to create Excel Macros
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work across departments in a matrixed organization
