Position Summary

The Case Manager, Expert will support the development of timely, accurate, and complete responses for Compliance Excellence, Case Management related requests. The incumbent is responsible for the researching, planning, development, monitoring, and direction of data responses, as well as providing analytical and technical expertise to support data requests, regulatory proceedings, and litigation. The Case Manager will collaborate with other lines of business to deliver timely, complete, and accurate discovery responses to internal and external stakeholders. This position will develop schedules, milestones and deliverables, manage issues, and lead development of key data responses.

 

Work schedule for this position: Hybrid—remote with periodic on-site presence at Oakland HQ or other designated PG&E offices.

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

 

A reasonable salary range is:

Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area)            $118,000.00

Mid Base Salary (Bay Area)        $153,000.00

Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area)           $188,000.00

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of high-quality data responses of moderate to high complexity
  • Work with subject matter experts on the development of data responses, which include but are not limited to communications materials, legal investigations, CPUC data requests, regulatory proceedings, and media requests.
  • Provide insight into implications and make recommendations of possible courses of action.
  • Communicate effectively on response strategy and status with company management or with key stakeholders, using established tracking tools and processes.


 Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of job-related experience

 

Desired:

  • Proficient experience in research, writing, editing, and analyzing information.
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and relationship building skills with particular emphasis on influence leading and conflict management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including oral presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, economics, engineering, political science, or a related discipline with a strong analytical component.
  • Ability to apply project management theories, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and litigation processes.
  • Competency in making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Competency in developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Experience in communication, analysis, project management, and regulatory matters.
  • Experience with the management and/or administration of regulatory and customer service issues.
  • Experience in Electric Operations or Compliance
