Department Overview

 

Enterprise Protection-Information Technology (EP-IT) Governance, Risk and Compliance (GR&C) is responsible for managing risk and compliance governance and oversight activities for the Information Technology and Enterprise Protection organization. The team reports directly to the SVP, CSO/CDAO with functional responsibility aligned to support the broader CIO organization. In a rapidly changing environment, this team provides guidance, consultation, and support to the IT Architecture, IT Operations, Cybersecurity and Corporate Security organizations to ensure risk and compliance are well-managed today and prepared for emerging requirements and opportunities in the future.

 

Position Summary

 

Analyze complex business processes and information needs to better understand process or functional interdependencies.  Document business process requirements, deliverables and compliance obligations. Review process design and output specifications for alignment with business objectives or outcomes.  Perform quality review of process deliverables and compliance artifacts. 

 

Collaborate with and gather information from internal teams to understand existing processes, procedures and options for streamlining.  Catalog documented controls contained within business process documentation to visually map controls to guidance document structure.  Participate in quality assurance reviews and business process improvement activities related to process simplification or placemat compiling.  Support business process bundling for training profiles.

  • Presents data and findings to senior peers or internal clients
  • Tracks existing metrics
  • Learning to apply basic knowledge and develop professional skill set
  • Assist other Business Analysts using established processes, practices and procedures as directed
  • Communicates with peers inside and outside of the department, providing information or exchanging data
  • Participates on project teams

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

 

The salary range for this position is from $73,000 to $109,000

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required

 

Desired:

  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental analysis
  • Organizational and prioritization skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity
  • Presentation skills to convey findings to varied audiences
