Department Overview

Electric Operations (EO) ensures the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response.

 

Electric Operations Construction Management is responsible for the construction, project and contract management of PG&E’s electric distribution overhead and underground facilities.  This role will be part of the Construction Management, Process & Tools team responsible for empowering Construction Management with standardization, efficiency and innovation of tools and processes to deliver reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. 

 

The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​ This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

 

Pay Range: 

  • Minimum:  $81,000
  • Midpoint:  $101,000
  • Maximum:  $121,000

 

Position Summary

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Completes assignments of moderate scope and complexity.  Develops and manages department budgets, regularly monitoring expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances. Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels. Communicates project status to all stakeholders. Monitors, evaluates status, and reports on projects.
  • Develops, oversees, and implements policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards to support business operating plans and goals. Communicates (oral and written) with peers inside and outside of the department, providing information or exchanging data.

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent
