Department Overview

Electric Operations (EO) ensures the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response. 

 

Electric Operations Construction Management is responsible for the construction, project and contract management of PG&E’s electric distribution overhead and underground facilities.

 

Position Summary

Evaluates the effectiveness of business processes, practices and procedures. Recommends improvements to current processes, practices and procedures.

 

Disclosure:

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. 

 

The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​ This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

 

Pay Range: 

 

  • Minimum:  $114,00
  • Midpoint:  $148,00
  • Maximum:  $182,00

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Applies advanced knowledge to wide- ranging process issues affecting the business. Develop business cases in support of strategy or change initiatives. Develops innovative process solutions to address complex business issues. Presents findings and proposed recommendations to leaders. Develops/delivers end-to-end process training materials to better support business needs.
  • May manage cross-functional projects or initiatives. May provide direction and coaching to other Business Process Analysts. Performs root cause analysis on highly complex processes that have cross functional impact. Works with and leverages relationships with Directors and Managers across process functions / PG&E. Will interface with IT Teams to deliver needed enhancements and functionality. Will deliver change management and training to support IT deliveries for the team.

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience. 
  • Six (6) years of related or equivalent experience.

Desired:

  • LSS-Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
