Position Summary:
Manages the program budget, which may include developing and presenting the budget proposal.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Applies advanced knowledge of Program Management to moderate to complex assignments and established programs. Works independently on most issues.  Receives guidance from manager. May participate in the development of new programs.
  • Manage programs, , monitor and track work to ensure timeliness, quality and overall program budget.
  • Manage regional DOR board
  • Attend DORs/other meetings

Weekly: 

  • Manage divisional field meets
  • Review QC findings from WOR
    Reviewing contractor timecards for the region (number varies, as many as 300 hours have been caught being charged to the wrong PM within a week)
    Review late ticket validity (provide writeups for divisions with 6 or more)
    Assist with commute mileage for take home vehicles 
  • Manage contractor movement/communication in the region Review rechecks (Leak Survey)
    Streamline CGI process in geographical areas when needed (Leak Survey)

Monthly/Ad Hoc:

  • Update accountability tracker
    Submitting CAPs on behalf of supervisor/superintendent
    Handle customer complaint calls (Currently assisting multiple lines of business per direction of Martin Martinelli)
    Manage all fleet vehicles for the region (Including submitting exemption requests for underutilized vehicles, and submitting rental extensions)
    A part of the supervisor on-call rotation 
  • Submitting map corrections for the region
    OCN reviews
    Assisting with coordination of Mentorship monthly meetings
    Sit in on positive discipline/investigations 
  • MVI Intake forms for the region
    Monthly supervisor scorecard goals (Can work with the other regions to create a scorecard for the system)
    Manage/approve all equipment/calibrations for the region 
  • Assisting with OJT scheduling and communication

 

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    5 years total related experience SAP experience
    Project or program management

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
    Experience in Gas utility maintenance and construction. 5 years engineering experience.
    •    Team leadership and collaboration skills.
    •    Basic negotiation skills and ability to influence
    •    Knowledge of project management, process improvement best practices, concepts, methods and techniques
    •    In depth knowledge of gas utility processes, regulatory requirements, critical success factors, goals and initiatives.
    •    Strong organizational skills.
    •    Strong communication & presentation skills and ability to influence
    •    Analytical problem solving and decision making ability
    •    General financial management & budgeting skills and business acumen.
    •    Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
