Information Systems Technology Services is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions.

 

Position Summary

Provides planning, product, business, and operations management analysis and support in support of business decision making, strategy, and operations. Provides input, support, and analysis of IT resource requests. Assists in the development of work prioritization for  IT organization and works with DCPP IT Leadership to provide cost estimates, project schedule, progress updates, and/or project management.

 

To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.


PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

 
A reasonable salary range is:
California Minimum: $123,000
California Maximum: $197,000

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides business analysis perspectives for proposed changes to applications and associated interfaces.
  • Presents findings and makes recommendations to management.
  • Uses or enhances existing financial models and develops complex new models for analysis and reporting.
  • Develops and tracks metrics that provide data for process measurement, business operations or risk assessment and may present findings to leadership.
  • Supports DCPP IT Leadership by prioritizing daily IT work and managing incoming service requests.
  • Coordinates IT activities with plant planners, schedulers, and work groups to ensure alignment with operational schedules.
  • Maintains and updates SAP documentation and tracking for IT work groups.
  • Facilitates daily and weekly IT coordination meetings to ensure clear communication across all DCPP teams.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Work experience, 6 years

 

Desired:

  • Experience in finance, 7 years
  • Experience in developing budgets
  • Experience in business process
  • CBAP-Certified Business Analysis Professional certification
  • ITIL-Information Technology Infrastructure Library Certification
  • LSS-Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent of working time
