Entry-level electric operations positions in the utility and construction industries earn competitive benefits and salaries, with a number of career advancement opportunities. There is no fee required to participate in the program. There is no guarantee of employment.
PG&E PowerPathway helps people in underserved communities, including women and military veterans, prepare and compete for high demand jobs in the utility and construction industries.
The Entry to Electric Operations program is provided by work2future with funding from the US Department of Labor through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, in partnership with PG&E, the Community College Center for Economic Mobility, and San Jose City College.
82% of PG&E PowerPathway graduates go on to work in the utility-construction industry with 56% of graduates employed at PG&E.
