We define diversity as all of the ways in which people are different. It is present in our job functions, work styles and experiences. Employee Resource Groups

PG&E demonstrates the value of diversity through the composition of our workforce and in our commitment to represent the communities we serve. We actively partner with diversity organizations and champion involvement with our internal Employee Resources Groups (ERGs), which play a vital role in the company’s overall business success. These groups assist in welcoming and mentoring new employees, and provide professional and career workshops, social networking events and community support through scholarships and more. National Diversity Partnerships

PG&E is a long-standing sponsor of the national diversity organizations SWE (Society of Women Engineers), NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) and SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers). To support those partnerships, we have internal professional networks that focus on the recruitment, retention, development and engagement of our employees and our commitment to diversity in our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) organizations.

Veterans Programs

PG&E recognizes and honors active military, veterans and retirees, and has been acknowledged for our commitment to hiring and developing veterans and reserve military personnel. We welcome the unique experience of veterans and are proud to offer challenging opportunities that demand technical and problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, craft skills and other valuable talents. Positions of interest may include technician, operator, mechanic, engineer, supervisor and administrative support, just to name a few.
