The HR Business Partner (HRBP) team works withPG&E’s lines of business as their Human Resources (HR) trusted strategic advisor. The HR Business Partner team leads the implementation of HR programs, including Performance Management, Compensation, Leadership Development, Organizational Design and EmployeeRelations for their line of business client.
This position is the HR for HR role. In this capacity, the HRBP will work with senior leadership to support the HR organization. This position is the strategic advisor for the SeniorVice President of HR working across Human Resources’ Centers of Excellence and with department leaders. This position is responsible for implementing new programs and initiatives and maintaining existing programs to ensure business objectives are achieved as wellas employee relations issues.
The HR Business Partner will be involved in the handling of sensitive HR issues by enlisting Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and applying professional expertise in the resolution of issues. The successful candidate will havethe ability to partner with and advise senior level executives on HR related plans, risks, impacts and actions impacting short and long term strategy.
*High School Diploma *Minimum of 10 years progressivelyresponsible relevant experience with experience executing a variety of HR programs from compensation, organizational design, and employee relations, employee development and leadership coaching.
*MBA or Master’s degree *SPHR *Experience working in a unionized labor environment
*Partner with leadership team (officers/directors) to determine strategies needed to drive results for the business *Support execution of strategies and changeinitiatives *Provide executive coaching and organizational consulting to leadership to improve their individual effectiveness and the effectiveness of their organization *Address and resolve complex HR issues that arise directly from the businessand/or through HR Consultants *Work with department leadership to recommend solutions and strategies to resolve HR issues *Partner across HR functions to ensure appropriate execution and delivery of HR programs and initiatives; provide input onand assist the delivery of various HR programs and initiatives *Effectively communicate goals, objectives, and implementation plans of HR programs
