Enterprise Architecture & Digital Innovation (EA&DI) practice is a centralized architecture group. The group supports PG&E’s affordability and reliability goals under the architecture mandate of Reuse, Rationalizeand Enterprise. The Solution Architecture practice delivers the technical architecture leadership to ensure implementation of quality solutions. With the efforts of our dedicated people and a commitment to teamwork and continuous communication, the EA&DI groupis able to offer and continuously improve on the following core services:

This role will work directly with our business technology team to ensure that an enterprise view is maintained for the electric / grid modernization portfolio. This rolw will be responsible for developing and maintaining referencearchitectures, standards, and the related service catalog. In addition, this individual will be responsible for managing the book of work pertaining to the above mentioned portfolio. This includes coordination with both onshore and offshore resources.
Minimum Qualifications: * BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Eng. or a related subject * 10+ years of utility industry consulting or software development, and/or delivery experience * Experience working as an Architectin an Agile environment * Deep and thorough understanding of Architecture domains and practices within a large enterprise. * Effective communication and inter-personal skills including negotiation skills and can drive the point across. * Relevantexperience in successful implementation of grid modernization programs. * Understanding of the Utility Industry and how technology is used within business processes. * Demonstrated technical leadership. * Excellent communication and collaborationskills and a strong work ethic. * Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the role and has strong sense of ownership
Desired Qualifications * MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field * ArchitectureCertification preferred (TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, etc), Security Certification (CISSP, etc), IT Delivery Certification (ITILv3, etc) * Good planning and organizational skills; detail and process-oriented; able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment
* Work in the Solutions Architecture team within the Technology & Architecture Planning Group, with responsibilities for delivery to clients including the business technology team. * Provide alignment withthe work being performed within the client teams and the architecture organization. * Work on the Architecture and Solution Continuum. * Develop thorough understanding of the PG&E’s enterprise and business architecture, the infrastructure, applicationsand systems that have impact on mobile. * Lead a team to create, enhance and maintain Solutions Blueprints, Solutions Architectures, and other artifacts within the SA stream for projects. Align solutions with existing reference architectures and contribute toenhancing them. * Co-ordinate and align with the Technical and Domain Solutions architects within the centralized architecture organization covering areas such as Security, Network, Integration, End User technologies, Analytics and ECM among others. *Develop and maintain relationship and coordination with Business Architects and Vanguard (Emerging technologies) teams. * Create and conduct Gate reviews for projects covering architecture alignment, code reviews, design reviews etc. * Provide technologyguidance and leadership to clients/stakeholders. * Stay up to date with developments and technology in the Mobile, Cloud and other segments of the industry. * Ability to thrive in a fast moving, Agile environment.
